Rated 4 out of 5 by mylo from Midnight Men I thought this was going to be a homerun. Actually none of the newest BBW cologne scents worked out. Maybe there is something different about how they're formulating mens scent? Wish I knew. The notes sounded perfect leather, bergamot, sage. Even the bottle, his favorite color is that cobalt glass shade of blue. Everything I smell in the bottle or on myself always smell better on his skin but not this. I guess he thought it was too sweet. Not so crisp. I agree it could be a unisex scent which I really wasn't expecting. I tried it on myself as well as a friend. Glad for those who seem to love it according to reviews, make me want to try it again, but may be better to just hold out for something new. Sad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by milehigh87 from Perfect for spring and summer nights on the town! When my wife surprised me with the midnight fragrance set, I had preconceived notions that this would be a dark, heavy, mysterious scent better suited for colder weather based on the name of the fragrance and the packaging/bottling. I was surprised to find that it is actually a fairly bright, vibrant scent better suited for warmer weather. Midnight reminds me a lot of another designer fragrance for men (starts with an "L" has a white bottle, and features a crocodile logo) because it has a very fresh, clean, youthful smell to it, which isn't a bad thing at all, especially when looking at price comparisons between the two fragrances. I have found that this is a magnificent scent to break out in the early spring months once the cold snap breaks and the days warm up a little, because of its youthful, hopeful nature. The bergamot and citrus open things up with a fresh clean smell that sticks around throughout the majority of the lifespan. The ginger and nutmeg in the middle notes are faint to my nose but occasionally noticeable. The base adds a creamy caramel liqueur, which stands out and balances out the bergamot nicely. In my opinion, spring fragrances for men can be more challenging to find since its not quite cold enough for the heavy winter spices and deep wooded scents but it isn't warm enough yet for summer aquatic scents either; I think midnight does a nice job of filling in this niche by offering just the right amount of fresh, citrusy notes found in the summer scents and just the right amount of spice from the winter ones. You can certainly wear it during the day, but I think it is best suited for nights, and temperatures above 50 degrees, as it dies off pretty quickly in the winter. Overall, a pleasant and unexpected surprise to come across and for the price, I think it's a great staple to keep in your fragrance rotation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Flobaby from My Top Favorite from the Men's Line I never thought that I would find anything for my husband that I liked better than "Mahogany Teakwood" or "White Citrus for Men" (no longer available) but this beat them. This is a complex and very expensive smelling scent. What I like about this one is that it is fresh and spicy, but it is not too overpowering. I also love the hint of caramel liqueur that surfaces in the dry down phase that does remind me of the lady's version (unfortunately no longer available.) I bought my husband the whole line, and he does not seem to mind wearing it. It's a wonderfully masculine fragrance, and I love the color and the packaging as well. 5 stars PLUS+++

Rated 5 out of 5 by ptrck from We Have a Winner I love the look of the bottle and even the box.The scent itself sort of reminds me of Very Sexy but Midnight does actually last a bit longer. At first I get a green/grape-fruit blast. This is followed by a soft woodsy/leathery/green smell that finally results in a caramelesque aroma that is subtle and not sickening.Liked it so much that I begged my wife for another bottle when I ran out of the first.
